Hello everyone! I have for you an amalgamation of my feelings, thoughts, and others thoughts that I’ve been consuming recently related to the series of conflicts happening globally. Think of this as a multimedia scrapbook. I’ve included a short podcast I recorded last week, some journal thoughts, and my digital garden (tiktoks, youtube, podcasts).

I recorded this to get back into the swing of things after not recording for a month. It resulted in an old school babblings, vent to the camera sesh. I’m not offering any solutions here just affirming how many of us are feeling. There’s a little tarot at the end that can offer some helpful affirmations and guidance if that resonates. At the end in the digital garden I linked a Dasia Sade youtube video about the importance of still showing up that unlike me is much more inspiring. <3

Journaling —

To be within history is to grasp the mundaneness of it. Nothing is happening yet it’s all happening. It seems different in a textbook with dates and locations on a bulleted list. I never gave much regard to the time in between. How much slower everything moves than I thought. We aren’t the first to sit around a television, radio, newspaper, disagreeing with the greed and destruction of a war we didn’t create. We are the first with access to first hand accounts. We’re the first to watch TikToks made by people in the middle of a war zone. To see genocide up close. The first to see what is happening globally up close and personal; while also having the ability to examine history with a fine tooth comb. Collectively we’re seeing the patterns, connecting the dots, pursuing change. But do patterns change? What does it take to break the wheel of past, present, future?
